Now, get plastic sheet what is for using storage photos. Then put ur sheet into dark place. Or in 1-3 months it turn into brown and brittle as hell. How i know, i forgot 1 of my sheet top of bookshelf.

The heading says TAIL PIPE. 3404 036-7 are the PNs for the tail pipes ( 70 C body w 440-4 HP) not the tips.

I don,t think on the build sheet......maybe on the window sticker......

it says undercoat/hood pad

it has a five in it shall it have undercoat and hood pad then?

Nice find!

Make a ton of color copies of the original.

Just to dredge this back up regarding the exhaust tips, down in the N-block (Engine Accessories) the BS for my Hurst shows N4"1", which is Dual Exhaust W/O Tips (according to several "decoder" websites). The next square is N42--Exhaust Tips, which on my BS is blank, of course.

The OP's BS shows a "1"in the N-Dual Exhaust block, meaning his car is a non-tips car.

As for the Exhaust boxes on the 5th line from the top, my numbers are 17 (left) and 45 (right). Dunno what those mean....part numbers, I guess. Not really important, because they're long gone.

A fella can burn [waste!!] a lot of time pondering his build sheet. I sure have!

The 1970 300/H “A12” package did not include the Sport Fury GT exhaust tips. A customer could order them and have the dealer put them on, but they don’t clear the rear valance so they were not standard on a 300/H.

I'm glad you found that. Unfortunately I'm of no help with the part numbers. Someone will be. Other would appreciate if you could scan or post a better picture of it as well.

thanks for the scan.

I see you have a pre 200000 version.
Can you post a pic of the data plate please ?

Thanks, Fury, for that A12 exhaust tip info. I didn’t “think” the 300 H came with tips after searching the entire Interweb for pics, but my recently purchased Hurst did come with **not very pretty** chrome tips installed by the POwner when he did an otherwise nice custom 2 1/2 exhaust in 2005. I plan to remove them soon and go with standard downturns like Chrysler intended. And I have seen a few pics of various chrome tip additions like mine.....not good.

Depending on weather the car had tips or not, the butterfly shaped tip hanger was mounted "up" or "down" to create clearance for the tips under rear valance
