My 2018 RAM Longhorn

You need to give the "right" commands.... like learning another language - or texting. LOL And wait til you try to voice text, it can't interpret my voice for diddly. Makes for some interesting texts.
I'm pretty good at pairing my phone to the Ram and the 300C.

I just keep saying hello until whoever is calling says hello back. Lol.

Pairing the phone is easy, making the hands free call can be a learning experience.
Biggest issue I've seen with laura using it is, she needs to speak slowly and clearly to get it to work. I'm not a fan of it. Why would it have voice to text when you shouldn't be texting while driving? That kind of defeats the purpose of not texting, doesn't it?

What do you guys think??

Radio is standard however its not the screen you see in the dash anymore. The radio module sits deep in the dash. The screen is a control panel. Had a kid find that out the had way. Took his new Ram home and immediately opened up the dash bezel and removed the “radio” to put an aftermarket POS in its place. The dumbass cut the harness to shreds then complained of a no start problem... we said well you just gave your truck a lobotomy so $1500 please
Your tech was too nice, I'd have included the A-hole tax... :elmer:... I think he did that repair on warranty times. How much was the new dash harness? Or did he use $3 of solder and a full day's labor?

Bob, do it if you like it... That truck of yours is so over the top for a guy like me, I'd have been happy a long time ago.

Jeff, I just walked out and looked at the truck from a couple of different angles and the hood looks great just the way it is.... more than likely I'll just leave the hood alone.

I can add an underhood CAI without a hood change that is just as effective.

IMO... everything about your truck is more class... I like chrome and don't find "resale red" to be my favorite shade... I bet in the sun and in person, your truck would put the other to shame.

So it takes 70mph air runs it over a airplane wing like curve, (i.e.the curve of the hood). Then shove it into two little holes in a low pressure area, remember hood curve, then turn it 180° sending it forward then 180° back toward the throttle body. I'm not seeing how there is any advantage to be gained. It does look nice.

Jeff, the Delmonico Red Pearl paint is unbelievable when the sun hits it. It morphs into a brilliant red metallic that is just stunning. This is by far the best paint color I have ever had on any vehicle .......ever!

Here's a look at the hood in a closer colour match to yours...

I gotta agree with Jeff, the chrome looks better than the black out and black out the piece on bottom like yours Bob.
I didn't mean to pick on the hood, I like them, I almost bought one for my Challenger to gain carb spacer clearance and it was non functional.

I believe all of the Southfork Special Editions are painted. I don't think you can get the Southfork special edition with chrome bumpers.
