Anybody else park way the heck out there and walk a mile to door?

How many required transport to the ER for shock?

He said about half, usually older men, say I'm just trying to slow the traffic down, people drive to fast. Trooper says, that is not your job that mine.

I am hoping it will take less than a generation. I have noticed on the weekend when there is lighter traffic, the ones camped out in the left lane are generally out of state, so I think Ohioans are learning. I also heard from a State Highway Patrol friend, that they are pulling over people for holding up traffic in the left lane. He admits he has only given a few tickets, usually just a warning. He said everyone always says as soon as I get up to the car, I was not speeding I had the cruise on 70. He said, I pulled you over for impeding the flow of traffic, not speeding.
Are they from Oregon? cause thats how they drive here, and holy moly if there is a passing lane they keep right and speed up. or you have people who get over to the left to pass and then wont drive any faster. Its insane...those "slower traffic keep right" signs are everywhere too but apperantap nobody knows where right is.

The signs aren't going to help. They put them up here in MN and it got worse, cops won't ticket them, and hardly pull them over because if the slow down it creates. We also have cops that drive the speed limit in the left lane and won't let any traffic get past them. Nothing like rolling down the interstate looking like a pack waiting for the green flag to drop.

It's why I love living in the country! I maybe deal with one slow car a week, and then I pass them!

A guy that worked with my dad was one of those self appointed left lane sheriffs. He would get himself all worked up with all the traffic going around him heading up north. He’d roll along at 70 in the left lane then speed up as you went around him to keep you from getting back in the left lane. One Saturday morning he arrives at his cottage so stressed out he sits down in the kitchen has a fatal heart attack.
MSP basic rule of driving expressways is. If you’re regularly being passed on the right, you’re in the wrong lane.

i've casually passed a cop when i was going at about 1-3 mph faster then he was, and he was totally cool with it and there was a huge crowd of cars behind him, it was smooth sailing after i passed that mess...

I tried that with this guy, real slow creeping along. He was waving like crazy for me to stay back, right at 64, 1mph below the limit. So, I put my front bumper dead even with his, and stayed right next to him til he hammered down to pass me and get of the highway. I got passed by half the traffic behind me like I was standing still.

Usually cops are ok with 5-10 over on the freeway where I drive .blonde girls get away with 20+ over on two lane roads. Oh yeah, she was cute and was showing off the "girls". I need to break down more often.

Always park away from the crowd...But, have learned where I can sneak a peek inside the store.

I always park in the outer limits of parking lots, try to protect one side with a curb or end spot, and back in. Last week I came out to find a orange scrape on the left front corner of my bumper cover on my Ram where some one cut to close...... :BangHead:
Most of it came off with some compound but there's still a few scratch's

I always take the inclination of the lot into consideration to avoid parking where the Shopping carts will roll down. Sick ? Probably.

Just notice this. I have heard directly from two CHP officers, in the past, at two different times. Their feelings are that lane #1, the fast lane, could be ok up to 75 mph, lane #2 between 65-70 mph, lane #3 pretty much 65, and lane #4 no more than 65 as it is the exit and entrance lane. They both would ticket 70 mph in lane #4

I like to take my mother-in-law shopping since she doesn't drive anymore and let's me store Imperials in her 3 car garage. Sure can fill up an Imperial trunk. She can't see over the dash, though...thank goodness I'm driving then.

Ok. Two go to storage unit nearby, correct? Two live at your house in two of three garage stalls. Mother in law let's you store the remaining one at her house? Or are there more you haven't told us about yet? :poke:

If it makes you feel better, I have my stash in four different locations.
