Picked up a sister to my ratty 65 sport fury today. Needless to say the new one is in much better shape aside from a few dents. And the kicker? The red one needs a rear window and the blue one needs a windshield haha!!
Yup that's what the guy I bought it from said it came from California back in the day a college kid had bought it. And then the guy I bought it from purchased it from him in the late 80s and drove it back to MN. I should post up the fender tag I believe it has an early build date. Pretty basic car though. The license plate says the car was registered here in California in very late 1972 or early 1973. FYI.
Thanks for the update. What's the back story on the 440 and how did you manage to shoehorn it in?For being a relatively stock 73 440 she's actually pretty peppy!!
They fit pretty easily.how did you manage to shoehorn it in?
bought it from a guy not too far from me who pulled it from a 73 imperial. Car came from California. All I know is he said it ran great and for $400 engine and tranny I figured I couldn't go wrong! With some help from Schumacher's engine swaps the 440 went right in!Thanks for the update. What's the back story on the 440 and how did you manage to shoehorn it in?
