My interest fired up quite many years ago while I was reading V8 Magazine, which is the oldest American car magazine in Finland. Since the first time of reading it, I convinced myself about having a big land yacht at some time.

To make a long story short, I thought that anything truly big from the 70s could fill my desire. It didn't take long before I decided to have a Fuselage or Formal Mopar, but my dad has had some daily drivers resembling the Formals, so I did want a Fusie. While looking pictures and friends` cars, Chryslers were the cheapest (as new) that I would consider.
The reason for tracking mostly Imperials was a 4dr Lebaron cruising around Helsinki and that was it:I started dreaming about an Imperial from 69-73 and I preferred 2dr hts over 4drs.

One of the friends was asking way too much for his 2dr 73 NYB, that I refused to buy it. I was observing Nettiauto.com, where I found Impster. I decided that a 4-door hardtop would be just as nice because of its bigger area of movable side glass. I`m getting the car next Saturday after paying the price in two payments.

Also now I want to point out Doc(Mcneedy), who made me sick while I was lurking at this site.:poke:
Credit goes as well to Stan (Commando1), who taught me the proper etiquette. :thankyou:

Here`s the for sale add: Chrysler Imperial Porrasperä 1973 - Vaihtoauto - Nettiauto

Make sure to share new pics and possibly video when you get it.

I promise it!
Thank you all for the kind words!
I forgot to say earlier, but Impster was imported in 1999 and turned to a museum automobile in 2004.

You've seen my YouTube Imperial stuff...you should get someone to shoot the Impster while she's moving or get a tripod like I use. She's a beaut...

Looks good.
Looking forward to the back story on the Museum part.

You're happy Doc hasn't turned to the overseas Imperial market for the Moment, this will take another year or two.

My dream: A clean 72 Rallye Red coupe with white leather and white top would be hard to pass on even with the 3K overseas shipping fee and general shipping hassle.

You can find only one 72 coupe, which is brown. I'm aware of a red 73 2dr, which is
red with a white vinyl top and black upholstery. I've never seen it alive, but it's in quite a rough shape.

My dream is a 72-73 coupe equipped with the power sun roof in black with gold vinyl and leather buckets. A 71 coupe in Aztec Gold with white vinyl and leather would get high on my wish list.

This board if could have, would have ordered some amazing cars from 69 - 73 ..with high options. Cars that likely don't exist anymore or were never built.

Basically I must keep it as original as possible. Now I can drive 30 days per year without any taxes. Wheels, tires and safety-concerned things like the notorious ammeter may be altered or bypassed.

Sorry for not handling multi-quotes yet, but my mom wants to have a ride to a random drive-in restaurant. That sounds like an excuse to her to use a camera.

Now half of the price is paid, so tomorrow I`m going to get the car at 11:00 am (and pay what`s left).

I got engine oil, two filters, two door lock knobs and a pile of documents with Impster. The car is truly a blast to drive and it has a nice rumble coming from the dual exhaust. On the 5th photo, I didn`t hit to the post even if it looks so...
My dad`s dwarf - 2004 Sebring - shows the difference between two cars.
