Sorry but had to get it for the summer ;)

84 was first year for FI and Turbo.
The computer quit in this gem rendering it not running and nobody makes them anymore.
Sadly, this was THE LAST E class turbo car registered in Ontario but I had no choice but to junk it.

NOOOOO CBARGE, SAY IT AIN'T SO? No one ever told you about the TurboDodge or TurboMopar sitez? Their's guyz on those two sights that can rebuild those SBC's. And their's always someone parting one out because the cancer worm won the battle. That's where www.car-part.com comes into play. The car-part site won't help you much with the C-Bodys(their too old) but the K+L+G+F+P bodyz are all over the country, Jer

I could not say no to this Nice Lebaron Convertible, ready for the summer
I know its far from our Beautiful Formals, but I have always liked driving them with the top down they have a nice easy feeling and soft ride. Not fast but ho needs fast when crusing top down on a summer night...

Thanks but too late.
However i will make a note if I ever stumble across another neat K.
I am always lurching and still a member of the K car Club of America.
The E class went away in 2015.
I Was in the middle of separation and the future at that time was unknown.
I had six cars including the BoaB still under construction
I had no place to keep it.
So it had to go.

Yes they are not expensive if you get lucky!
They ride very well, not much power but enough to get on the Highway but best on country roads ;)

The handling on my E-Class was nothing special that I recall, especially compared to today's cars but for its time it beat out anything else in its class. I tried all of the GM and Ford cars they had to offer at that time in that size and price range and the Chrysler beat them all hands down. From handling to looks to whatever, imho.

I've got loads of convertible specific parts for the 1982-86 K Cars and the 87-95 Lebarons!

The 2.6 engines were a can of worms especially with the carb systems on them

The 2.2 turbos were pretty reliable

here's my 1992 Daytona IROC R/T 18,000 miles

DOHC, 16 valve, turbo, intercooled, 5 speed

the most HP that the 2.2 made from 1991-93 224 HP

the head and valve train parts were built by Lotus in England

The only thing under the hood that interchanges with anything else is the radiator cap and no aftermarket parts were made for this engine.

There is no distributor only a coil pack.

The engine was an 8,000.00 option, mine is only lacking the leather

It has factory alarm, CD player and the Infinity radio/cassette player, overhead console, rear wiper, tonneau cover, 8 way lumbar seat, fog lamps, ABS, original unidirectional tires.

production on the engine was about 1380 in 3 years I believe

Wow that's a very nice car! Marty.
I might need a part or two for my 1984 Lebaron Cov, as I'm taking everything apart and refreshing what I see necessary ;)
