Only gonna get crazier and crazier....the asking prices that is. Obviously that doesn't mean he'll get that. I always say "shoot for the moon & stars" and usually you'll get the stars. I wonder if he's a member here?

Anaheim, California? No one here.
And is that the best ad and description he can do for that shoot for the moon price? Stupid.

No its not, good ones are hard to find, find another. A solid car, two door of that vintage.....its understandable

From his ad you have NO idea on the condition of that car except it has a pretty paint job that looks great in pics.
Until then............

Besides, UGH1 Green/Green with boring interior? That's a couple of thou off right there.

Well Gary, you did get an awesome deal on the purchase price of your car but figure into that time and parts, and its not done, not even close. To get yours like that what would it take? IN dollars? And thats a 440 car , theres something to be said for that

I don't really like that color. For a luxury car, and I assume a New Yorker would be a luxury car, then it should have a luxury color. It sure isn't that green, or a yellow and a few other colors. When I think Porsche 911, 1968-1976, I think black or silver. My father had a silver one and the color just said Porsche like red just says Ferrari. I don't know what that green says...

A great New Yorker in excellent condition. Not the most desirable color, but one can't complain with it being in such great shape. I would think this one is good enough to get the C-Body trophy at Carlisle this year. Might be able to get it for $10k.....hint, hint Mark.

Give it a decade or so, perhapmore and keep it in the prisitne shape it is in now with little or no further mileage on it and maybe the asking price will not seem so silly. Im not stuck to mch on "pedigree" thing. I could turn a /six dart into a "440" car by yanking the / six and stuffing a 440 in in place of it...now its a 440 car. Not very impressed by that stuff.

But how much would that cost? Eliminate the rust on your car? and so on. You know where I am going with that, still not worth ten?

>Insert pic of dumpster<
it is very green...but it does look like a nice original example.

Black wall tires don't help with the overall impression and look of the car at all. Since this is a pay my price auction it reminds of the place I saw up here where cars had ridiculous prices but storage only cost $99 a month. If it had to be green then why couldn't it have been F3 if it were metallic?

he is doing the same as SFGT-Dan.

12,5k is way to much. Last year a pristine golden one with tortoise roof sold for 9k$ to germany.
I also rememeber a 69 blue met non v-top New Yorker that was for sale in Michigan for a long time, Arizona car, solid but not perfect. Price was 4.200$ and it took a long time to sell in 2011/early 2012

Standard '68 NY cloth and vinyl bench w/center armrest.

They do look very "newportish", don't they?

Does anybody think this car would look great with fat black walls, black steelies and povery caps or would that be a bad choice for a NY?
I'd do it on a 300.

Either that, white walls and stock wheel covers is mandatory otherwise, I think.
