1965 Chrysler 300 what other carand year body and trim are interchangeable?

The upper exterior side trim is the same all 65-66 models I reproduce the clips that hold that trim in place. Everything else externally I believe are model and year specific.

However you could put any lower side trim from any model of 1965 or 66, but would not technically be correct.

I have the clips to hold on the lower trim for 1965 New Yorker and 300L 1966 Nyer and 300.

Hope that helps, they were very specific. The front fender would be the same from 2 door to 4mbut then you would need them trim for model number of doors.

You won't have the trim piece on the front passenger side the trim before the blinker indicator. It's a 90 degree bend

The “end” pieces are specific to the ‘65 models and are the same across the Newport, 300, 300L, New Yorker and Wagons.

Which emblems are you needing? Quarter panel, grill, interior door panel?

Grill and quarter panels both sides. Restoring this car

The upper quarter trim (2 dr) is different in length between 65 & 66. I know I bought the piece off the left quarter from a 65 several years ago to replace my bent one. Didn't fit my 66 Nyer. I might have it sitting in the garage somewhere. Took me several years to find one that was in great shape for the 66 year. You could cut down a 66 piece but the 65 definitely is too short for a 66. 2 dr models are a lot rarer than 4 dr models. Think twice before mangling a piece of 2 dr trim. The clips that hold them on are the same.
