Hi Jay, sorry I ought to have been more explicit. I know that H51 = manual. My surprise is because it's the first '72 Imp I've seen equipped this way (granted, I am no expert like you). I guess that's why it's so expensive -- black, beautiful and the A/C is easier to fix!

That was the standard temperature control system (all A/Cs also included a heater, I must add) in 71-73 Imps, but yes, quite a rare setup.

First Fusie Imp that I wish I had $20k for so that I could drive all day just to rack up the "thumbs up everywhere I go."

is that cornering lamp bezel supposed to match the bodycolor or was it originally chromed ?

It does have the original painted negative battery cable and what looks like the original heat stove ducting. Looks like someone dumped some detailing gloss on the engine at one time in it's life.
Someone did half a job on the heater hoses, and what looks some rust dust on the inner fins of the alternator leads me to believe the bearing is on it's way out.

I like the front seats.

"Only 2,322 Built and very rarely seen today at all."
They haven't been up Docs way I take it. heh

If you buy it, drive it across the state and I will remove the hitch for you free of charge!

I´d love to do that, but I live in Finland and do not have that 20K laying around. :(
