My lens making thread.

Are you taking requests? I have some parking lamps I'd like made in clear.

I am, but my crazy season for my business runs through October. I have a few lenses in line right now. My goal is to increase my lens catalog. I am very interested if you can wait until this winter.

I would need a good set of originals to make a mold.

Mike: I don't remember. . . Are you also looking at doing the front turn signal lenses for our '66 300s?

There is a member here from Germany who has actually made those so I have no plans to do it myself. He had them for sale on Facebook about a year ago.

I'll touch base with him and check out the status, not too active here in FCBO.

Zymurgy...Mopar hero!
Hi did I read correctly that you figured out how to make these plastic - urethane clips?

I have a 1966 Newport convertible and I need to put my pass side front fender back together, have all the trim just need those clips.

Where can I buy them and thanks!

Yes I do have these. I'll send you a PM

I have a quick question. Does the rear bumper have to come off in order to get the rear lights out of a 66 300?

Basically yes but I can do it without completely taking it off but it's pretty much very loose. If you haven't had it off lately go spray it was some PB Blaster or your favorite rust loosening product.
Since you only need access to the left side I loosen everything on the right and pretty much take everything off on the left.

FYI: Mike and I are working on details to produce Rocker molding clips for my 77 NYB. If anyone else needs the same and want to piggy back on my order, feel free.

Z your taking on clips as well ?
I haven't actually kept account of how many I've made but let's say it's in the neighborhood of 600-700 in the last 2 years.

It was the perfect product to develop my mold making techniques. It's a lot easier to throw out a $5 mold for a trim clip than a $200 lens mold.

I have followed this thread for some time. Your development of this process is of the highest quality. Do you still make trim clips not currently available. The photo below are the ones needed. I have a donor clip in good condition.

I should be able to do those. What trim do they attach and what car model and years(if you know)? Send me a PM and we can iron out the logistics
