Well maybe not as desperate as AOC’s dilemma with the insane “baby eater” yesterday but it’s been an issue. The wife’s always been 100% in as far as old cars go. She’s driven em all to work from the Darts & cudas to big ole convertibles. The only problem is she likes to put the top up on the open cars. My `69 Fury has never had any of the top stuff and I put it up by hand. No way on earth her 98 pound self can do this. Well I just acquired everything to make the top go up n down at the push of a button but it takes super human strength to latch to dang thing. I’ve always just whacked the latches in place but doing this even hurts my hands from time to time. Simple question are the latches a serviceable item and can they be adjusted. I’ve adjusted the locking screws on other tops before but this seems way more involved, like the latching levers are binding maybe???? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

likely it's not the latch's that need adjusting. There are adjustments throughout the side rails that will allow the top to "set" closer to the header. Its a trial by error procedure.

AOC, and others like her, have a very dangerous intellect.
It seems intelligent so long as you don't scratch beneath the surface - and sadly, Americans are losing the ability to do that with each generation.

I hope we never get to the point that idiocy is recognized as a form of intellect.

Sounds like a safe choice for AOC, she is not longer a baby, but still has the same infant like intellect.

I hope we never get to the point that idiocy is recognized as a form of intellect.

Passed that point a few years ago.
