I saw this sitting at a junkyard here in St. Louis. She was up on a rack, so I had a feeling they were selling the whole car. After a good look I went home and did some research. Called, made an offer and the next day I drove it home. I was told over the phone they knew the guy that sold it to them and it was clean title. When I got home I realized it was signed and printed in the wrong spot. Speedway Salvage dodged me and wouldn't return my call, even went down there and was stonewalled. Did a hail Mary and sent a letter to the people on the title and...they actually replied and filled out the proper form needed to amend the error! Got the title in my name this week and it is time to get going on it.

Congrats ,nice car! In the first pic it looks like the engine is out it is sitting so high. But you say you drove it home or did you trailer it?? More pics!!!!

Congratulations on finding this coupe! This model of car is actually getting harder to find and in such original condition! Have fun with it.

The torsion bars were turned way up. I took 21 turns out of one side (see avatar.) Ran great and almost made it home with no hiccups. A battery cable came off

Good job saving it, I really like the fuselage bodies without a vinyl roof. Please continue with the pictures and updates!

Nice find! Why would someone junk a car in that good of original shape? Title issues suck, but it’s still good that the yard recognized its value as a whole car and didn’t just cut it up from the start.

That was in a junkyard?! Nice save by you. That is a solid looking Fury. Keep us posted on any and all progress.
