It’s fine if your car isn’t really dirty...
Depends on how it gets dirty.

In the middle of the winter with salt and winter type dirt, no, I wouldn't use it.

Driving a waxed car to Carlisle in the rain... It seems like most of the last few years have had that scenario. I used my waterless wash every single year I've taken the car to Carlisle, (and a few other trips) followed by a good detail spray and there are no scratches in my paint.

I've only been to 1 other show and the weather was perfect (Carlisle 2019) so I have no experience.

Apparently you were not there on Thursday last year when a Monsoon struck and there was massive flooding in the swap meet area.

Sorry WissaMan but they weather was NOT perfect at least one day out of the 3. Boy do I certainly remember the flood last year Bill, it was awful.

Got the car out today, dusted it off and started loading it up. Finish tomorrow morning before we leave. We should and HOPEFULLY will be out of the house by 7am tomorrow morning. Stopping 2 hours away at 9am to meet a friend to convoy with him to the show and should and HOPEFULLY will be to the fairgrounds around lunch time. Looking forward to seeing you all there tomorrow!

Sorry folks, the final decision is I won't be there. P137 and 138 are abandoned this year.

The doc gave me the green light to return to work and they now expect me Monday morning. I've been laid off since April. Flying would be the only way to be there at all with this schedule, and I'm not too sure there would be enough time for that to work. If work hadn't responded, I was going to see if I could make an auto train ride happen today.

Wish you all a great time, have a beer in memory of those of us who had to skip this one (Dave can have a water or something).
