looking for recommendations for where to get my 67 Fury brake booster rebuilt l.
Front disk and rear drums on this one from the factory. Found replacement Budds calipers and pads and now booster is going!
I'm in FLORIDA if you know of someone close with a good reputation for rebounding old boosters.

With the US dollar being stronger than the CDN dollar,I recommend checking out John Stuart Power Booster Co.
I dealt with them before, prompt quality service and fast shipping.
Plus save a few bux on the currency exchange to boot!!

I really don't think a member in Florida, USA is going to send a booster into Canada for a rebuilding.
The two way mailing, international, back and forth, will probably cost as much as the rebuilding on the booster.

They have a FedEx account and they can give you the account number for lower shipping costs. I found that out on my last deal with them. what cost me 48 bux to ship out only cost me 20 return with thier number. Just an example

Ya, but your doing this to Canada to Canada address's to get your "good" rate.
Certainly not for international USA, into Canada mailing.

Thanks for all the response. I'm so done waiting to have a driver that I may buy NOS booster And keep and send mine away for rebuild. Having a spare not a bad idea plus never know when ill find another CBody I want and can afford!

Good luck with that. . .
Yeah, NOS won't be happening. I bought a rebuilt one from Rock Auto a few years back with intent of sending my original to Dewey but still haven't got around to it. Rock auto doesn't have in stock anymore but some other places may, would be worth a shot. Beware there are actually 2 different disc boosters used in 1967, early ones have a twist-on check valve with gasket & later ones use a push-in valve with rubber grommet. No big deal but the twist-on valves are hard to find & the push-in ones are common.

N.O.S.!!!!!!!
Hey you've got a shot right there in Florida.....
Is Magic Kingdom open yet ????????

Although I didnt check in Canada I could not find one [reman] from anyplace even though it was listed on many sites. My booster replacement was for my 69 Fury III with all drum brakes. Rockauto was out of everything except for one 68 booster. I ordered it and they were then out of stock after I bought it. I wish you luck. Dewey at the time a month ago or so said his turn around time was 6 + weeks. I have kept my old booster to send in during the winter as who knows how long the Cardone will last.

That's a little stiff... And really, NOS parts like a brake booster would need to have that 50 year old rubber replaced anyway.

I would BET
1.... He did NOT find a CORRECT N.O.S. one at any price.... &
2. You DID NOT buy it @ $ 800.00 plus shipping...

I have been known to place an occasional wager, and
I would BET I am correct and correct....
Just no place to collect my winning bets.... Oh well, I
Will go back to work.....

I used Steve's service with no issues. He was very helpful with my 4-disc conversion! And his assistant, Audrey, is nice to talk to.
