The Servprolara

That's a creative use for a console. I bought a set of prewired USB ports off of Amazon a couple of years ago to put in the console I built for the NYer. They work great. If I remember correctly you can get them with different charge rates.

Cool plan Wyatt with the console, I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I really think it would looks great and unusual with a floorshift but that is just me

I agree, I have one other car I am converting to floor shift, and 2 others that came with floor shift originally.

Before the new engine went in I pulled the trans out to clean 50+ years of gunk and crud off of it.

I also changed the shift shaft seal. This was one of the reasons I jumped on this project, the puddles I was leaving were unacceptable.

All cleaned up, awaiting seal replacement.

I ordered cheap ebay shorty headers for a Ram/Dakota/Durango application. They fit this C body like a glove.

Mostly back together...

The car now cruises down the highway at 80mph+ and the temperature gauge stays on the cool side.

In addition to the shorty headers, I had the existing single side exit exhaust upgraded to dual side exit exhaust. Its kinda loud , but now I need to focus on the interior, as well as stereo system to drown out the exhaust.
