    '61 Dodge Dart Phoenix w cross-ram

Thanks for all of the information. I believe it's a 3 speed on column but will report back. Hoping I can get the VIN before the drive. How difficult are parts for these cars to get? Are there any other resources I should look into?

    '61 Dodge Dart Phoenix w cross-ram

A '61 Dodge Dart Phoenix with 383 cross-ram and manual trans recently crossed my radar. I know nothing about them having recently completed a '66 426 hemi Belvedere. Owner claims 1 of 12 with the engine/trans combo. Sounds like the 383 was early '61 before the switch to a 413 later in '61...

To paint or not to paint?

Hi Everyone, I opted to skip the respray and had it detailed, the rip in the drivers seat reupholstered, the sail panels on the roof replaced and the rear seat stitching repaired. Previous work was to replace all four power window motors and replace all aged front end parts. She now runs very...

To paint or not to paint?

I have a previous thread regarding my '67 Chrysler New Yorker with seeming 18K original miles. It had a respray to a different shade of white, much brighter. The car is obviously never going to be a $50K collector car but do I drop the $8K for a Persian white respray?

The story goes...it was Grampa's car that he only drove to church and family functions, 18K miles on the odometer. You look at the pictures and tell me if there's 118K on this...

OK, I'll take pics and post them. I agree with previous poster that the torn seat questions the mileage but it looks like someone had a screwdriver in their pocket but all thoughts welcome after the pic's are posted

    Introduction of SXArnold

Hi All- I recently picked up a '66 Chrysler New Yorker 440 white exterior/red interior with 38K original miles from "Grampa's" estate. It seems the old guy drove it to church and to family functions. Purchased it from the grandson who did basic maintenance over the years to it. Local car builder...
