From @fc7_plumcrazy : Chryslers only got the tortoise grain; Gator grain was only available on Dodge & Plymouth

Also from Cartsen here: V1Y is correct for the tortoise grain roof. V1G is the gator roof which was available on Dodge & Plymouth

@Mr C , who has posted numerous times on the topic, can add info too.

Congrats! Look forward to the fender tag :)
Thanks, ya I was not looking for one but I think is a cool car, I can tell you something that thing was not cheap at all.
I brought it only based on 10 pictures sitting in the garage and it was the last time running over 20 years ago who knows maybe the engine is locked up we will see once it gets here.

Not cheap? From what I see, under fifteen is a good deal.

It would be very cool to be able to rock an actual tortoise grain top.
There was one at carlisle but I couldn't find it. I've yet to see one in person.
Super cool option. Unique, but needs to be on the right color pallet IMO.
@Tobias74 Can't wait to see that tag and more actual pictures of the car!

Ya it was under 15g Dave it was 10 Canadian plus the transfer from Winnipeg Manitoba to my place it will be another $2500 since is 1600mls away from me and the car needs to be imported to the USA

I will post pictures once the car arrives in roughly 14 days

I have a feeling you did well but who knows from photos ? Two door fuselage cars especially Dodges do not pop up often. When they do their usually parts cars.
I'm anxious to see the results.

I remember seeing a Gator grain topped green 70 Charger R/T in the late 70s back in St Paul MN . It was mint of course…. Left an impression on me. Of course I was already a Charger fan by then .
