Name that girl

you new folks remember the girl game uses the honor system. they are solely using only picture clues and written hints.

you could "cheat" and just directly search the picture and the girl will usually pop right up. the other games you can tend to use any way you can.

many times we never get the girl without cheating. somebody 70 years old looks a lot different than themselves at 7 years old. maybe the clues are sh**ty. sor, she's not as popular as we think. who knows?

if it's too hard, folks just tend to admit they didnt get them as this is all for fun anyway. good luck! answer in a couple of days. harder games are coming.

I keep tabs on her. Weshare a birthday and I just like her. She's here but years ago. Her mom too. Actor (good but not Oscar great), California girl, famous actor parents. They are both dead but she's obviously still working.

Made her own way in the business. One huge break in one particular seasonal series of theatrical movies. mainly cheesecake stuff when she was younger. She still looks good at almost 67 years old. Odd connection to William Shatner.

Here in 1966 so about eight years old. Doesnt mind playing characters her age -- snow white hair now and all. Like some, she facially looks the same all these years.

When you get her, please let game run for others. PM me if you want to confirm quess. Well get a few in before year end.
This must be an easy one, even I got it!

2,438. quite ez. we had her back in post #449.

When my boys were small and watching Sesame Street, I came home from work and saw she was a guest on there.

I said to my wife (the first Mrs. Big John) "Is she going to take her top off like she usually does?".

New Game.

Here is a difficult one. Most of us are too young to have seen her in her prime below,. she is an American actor who got her start in the 1930's.

She died 15 years ago, at age 100, 10 years after co-staring role (in her late 80's but playing a character who was was suppossed to be 101 years old) in one of the highest grosssing (box-office) movies ever made. She even got an Oscar nomination for the role (didn't win).

chances are you saw this movie. then or you know somebody who did. it was big. the director, if you can believe it, has made bigger grossing (arguably), better known films since. none better in my estimation.

if you or your better half get her by face, that would be astounding. my suggestion would be "do the math", then noodle on it.

Answer end of week or sooner if a lot of people get her. good luck.

I think famous parents got her foot in the door.

She's actually a baroness, "The Lady Haden-Guest" since she's married to Christopher Guest, who's a baron along with being a star of Spinal Tap.

She's got a lot of that Hollywood weirdness though....

Didn't get her, and never heard of her.

before the big movie, I never heard of her either. She made such a hit with audiences, and as well the movie was so big, and her role so pivotal to the story, she was kinda hard to miss.

big as that movie was, it was still possible to miss her cause she hadnt worked in major film or TV in so long nobody knew who she was.

Actually, I think she only took her top off once and then didn't like doing so. That was in Trading Places.

i didnt keep track but i think thats right. i do know she showed her body off in lots of stuff and a lot of breast and leg shots/clothing when she was young.

This one is a challenge. I want to say she was in a John Wayne movie from the 30's but not sure. I'll have to wait for the answer.
they were contemporaries but she doesnt list Wayne in her acting resume. She had enough work in 30's to have had a bit part in a John Wayne joint.

She was old when we firs met her (as an actor ) and that makes this on especially hard cause that aren't real good visual clues, but she was in a big movie in the late 1990's, when she was nearly 90 yrs old herself, playing somebody older. she's here because the big movie made her role in it famous too.
