Let me know if you have one and if it is the best thing since sliced bread.
I have no issues with overheating other than getting real warm in extended idling periods in traffic.
Let me know what you have!
Thanks!

I have one. Love it.
Be prepared to modify the mounting brackets. They are never correct for C-bodies regardless of what the literature says.
And don't forget you still need to mount a shroud to it. How's your TIG welding?

I have a BE COOL rad in mine, but because it hasn't had its safety check ,I cant tell you how effective it is. I can send a photo if needed

Cheers

I had one and went back to a conventional radiator when I put the larger (correct) radiator yoke on my car. I couldn't see how it made any difference.

I put a universal one from jegs in and it works fine. I measured wrong and got one slightly smaller than the opening in the rad support but have had no issues. Buddies dad fabbed my brackets.

no tig for me but I have a large fab shop at my disposal that can help me out :)

Absolutely. The brackets may be imperfect, but at least in my case, the shroud lined up perfectly. One other thing.....make sure your radiator cap well is not too deep for the cap you will use (you want the cooling system to hold pressure properly). Mine was a hair too deep, so I had to take a thin piece of gasket material and cut out a little "o" shaped piece to place at the bottom of the cap well/neck. Personally, I will never go back to a copper/brass unit ever again, if I can avoid it.

When they start making the aluminum ones look stock...

They are good but not the fix for an overheating problem.

Alan

Might be if the problem is a really crappy radiator :)

but I agree with you .. if the problem is the wrong impeller pump, timing, Stan's thermostat, or any number of other things a new rad ain't gonna help

here is an aluminum version of mine fr the 318 KKS 3 Rows 1963-1967 MOPAR 22" Wide Core All Aluminum Radiator

$200 bucks!
