440 dipstick length

can someone measure their dipstick length. from full mark to where it seats on the tube.
im getting 20''
trying to figure out oil level issues.

Here's what I'd do. Do a full oil change to spec. Start it, let the pressure build and fill the filter, shut it down, let the oil settle, clean the dipstick, check the level, mark the measured level as full. Put a file mark or something where you've measured full. It's the only way to know for sure.
