This probably seals the deal of not letting me sneak away at the last minute. I don’t think I want to drive across country with a seeping radiator. I saw some splashes of coolant on my heater hoses, so I started to look around and found a couple of wet spots. Not dripping yet, but primed to blow on a hot day in traffic.
And no I am not going to use stop leak.
I hav a local shop that re-cores. Just not sure of his turn around time an time to get a new core.

Mike Bruins Radiator And exhaust in Fargo. Actually it is his son running it now. (Late 20’s early30’s). Last spring there was a third generation in training, although in a baby seat with his wife doing the scheduling and books.
Anyway he did my exhaust system and says he still re-cores for his customers and other shops that need the service.
He is next to the NAPA on Main Ave.

I booked my hotel in downtown Carlisle in mid-December, and my flights and rental in late March. After Carlisle I had planned to fly from Harrisburg to Indy to attend Mecum all week. And this coming Independence Day weekend I was heading to Winter Park to relax at the outstanding Alfond Hotel and enjoy the restaurants in that area.

Just decided.....cancel, cancel, and cancel. Damn.

I did just return from a seven day motorcycle trip to the Dragon area. 50% restaurants, no bars open, but nobody practicing the covid rules at all in that area due to very low infection numbers in most of southern Appalachia. Yeah....it's weird out there, and it just makes travel "no fun".
