Family owned. This was my Grandmother's car and she drove it for 15 years so I question the mileage, even though the pedals and carpet appear as low mileage. The car has had some repaint but never overall. The quarter panels have some rust. The 440 four barrel carbureted engine and Torqueflight automatic transmission perform as they should and the car drives great. The heater core leaks but a new one is included. Everything works as it should except the heater of course. The top is green.

No mention of conv. top condition. If it has some rear quarter rust than some also on the underside? At this asking price it should need little or nothing. In my opinion, overpriced as too much not disclosed.

the most delusional listings seem to turn up on Facebook. Looks like it COULD be quite nice, but it's hard to tell...…… appears to be a disc brake car WITH the correct wheelcovers at least...…

I dunno, that's pretty darn nice. Interior looks good, tonneau cover looks right, wheels, door panels all good, love the color, if that is the original trunk mat, spare, jack etc that might be a pretty good indication of overall condition, and that is the real mileage...... Not sure about the 21K but not a bad place to start if Seller is reasonable and not just fishing. Polara66 is right, you don't see this everyday. CG

Trunk mat likely a repro. Pattern seems to be from ‘65 or ‘66, more of a houndstooth for ‘67 & ‘68.
Trunk Mat Truths. What’s correct?

probably the same reason some people would not spring $40 for power steering
it is easy today to judge how much money was worth then. the Painted top on my 67 newport cost 17.00 on the window sticker!
My brother was a machinist then, and he made a wopping 4.00 per Hour.LoL

Agreed and check out upgrading to a torqueflight on a car with manual standard or checking off the A/C option box.

Is that the correct steering wheel for a 1968. I think that looks like from 66 or 67. My 68 convertible and others I have seen have black cushioned center cap of wheel if not Tilt and Tele Thanks for your thoughts.

Yes metal horn cap correct for ‘68 built prior to January 1, 1968. After January the federal mandated crash regulations kicked in mandating a padded cap.

Thank you for clarifying My 68 300 convertible has the rubber center but it is later model year. I recognized that car on line as early production due to the silver finish between tail lights instead of black as mine has. Best wishes.
