Gold with a blue interior? That is an oddball colour combination that I would change during the resto. My Dad's 71 was sunflower yellow/woodgrain with the saddle interior. He hated the yellow and painted the car turbine bronze in 1973...that was a beautiful colour combination.

Yes 69 would work but have round backups, Ill hold out for a 71-73. Mine is allmost through along the leading edges under the taillights. Keep working at getting this one out of the yard and into your drive. enjoy seeing it along the way!

Yo Mopar383. The rear facing bench was the difference between the 6 passenger and the 9 passenger Chrysler Long Roofs as far back as they made the 9 passenger. The 6 passenger only had the two forward facing benches and the tire well hid the tire and hinged panels finished off the rear cargo area. Did you ever hear of "CAPTIVE AIR TIRES"? Their was no spare tire in the 9 passenger tire well or even carried. Those tires were unique to the 9 passenger wagons. A double blader (tire within a tire) that had an orifice in the side wall for inserting a needle type air filler that was issued with every "early" 9 passenger station wagon before they started stuffing the spare it the quarter panel. Jer

She looks good in blue and gold but his combo is the other way around no? They made airplane tires like that at one time maybe it was something else but I have heard about tires like that just not on 9 pass wagons.

LOL... funny stuff. As Chrysler Family pointed out, it has the optional L8Y5 Gold divided bench. The trim code is GY5 Gold throughout, no blue anywhere.

The fact I used this car as my user name, I best buck up and go get it this week.

Yeah....... You've been flapping your jaws and threating to drag it home for a weak now...... Bout time for some action.... Or before long wou'll be here crying the blues cause it got crushed ...or something.

Sorry...... Tough love...! I saw it on TV.

X2, yeah go and grab that car now....before a more dubious end befalls upon it. It would be a real shame if that were to happen.

The cars is not going anywhere. I am gone for a week at a time for work... down in So. Ca. right now. I was in Tulare, Ca. yesterday morning tempted to go look at that '69 Monaco 440HP Alan said was for sale... I got the disease bad

My wife will flip, but I plan to get rid of a few parts cars by this Fall. You guys have convinced me I need to save this wagon, thanks for the support! Lol
