    Roy Clark: Awesome Guitarist

Gorgeous instrument! I've played 6 string most of my life. At one point I picked up a student model Carter pedal which I worked to play for many years. Never got much beyond basic chord progressions. That machine ain't for the faint of heart!

    Additional Hobbies...Lets Hear 'Em

...than my job. .. it was actually all I did AND my job AND my course of study for 15 years. .. that kind of killed it for me. Still pick up the guitar, sit at the drum kit or the organ or fire up the synths from time to time but now I just find it heartbreaking. I hate 99.9995% of music...

    Goodbye Laverne

...three years of skyrocketed blood sugar levels, a trip to the eye doctor revealed 20/20 vision, no sign of cataract and very slight retinal hemorrhaging. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't see. I guess I'd still be able to play guitar? But everything else I love doing would be out the...

Singer Carly Simon then & now

I'm bored I'll jump in...she writes her own music and lyrics, and sings and plays guitar, not to everyone's taste certainly, but enough people that they are fans who spent money on her stuff. She can't help it she was born into a rich family.

...up the engine and fouling the plugs..been there. The vacuum gauge is the next best thing to tell you where the motor is happy compared to a sniffer. Finally,a fresh motor deserves a fresh carb for optimum tuning. Like putting worn out strings on a new guitar...not happening. Hope this helps.

    So Long Rhinestone Cowboy

He's one of the best musicians to come out of the 60s. He could really "tear-it-up" on guitar. Played guitar with one of those instrumental groups like "The Ventures" early on, filled in when Brian Wilson wigged-out and couldn't travel with the Beach Boys and sold a ton of vocal albums. R.I.P...

Fresh rebuild so a little stiff yet. Runs and sounds good for now. Probably up to 50 miles now. I have tested the kick down adjustment a few times. Sets you back nicely in the seat when you hit it at 55. I will use my current carb for break in and get it rebuilt next winter. For the 550 RPM I...
