Many b body heater control vac switches will work on C body Chryslers. The one requirement is they be manual A/C equipped. New Port, New Yorker, 300 and some B bodies definitely interchange. see photo.

I don't see a windshield washer bag. It should be on the passenger side, next to the radiator (barely visible here):

Here's an updated photo of the engine compartment after I installed the ribbed/stamped heater hoses (following heater box installation) and replaced the upper radiator hose filter last fall with an uncut hose and correct spring clamps, mostly finishing off the engine bay. 2025 also saw new tires...

Looks good overall - nice attention to detail and I'll only nitpick because you asked us to! I second the comment regarding the cogged belt, as well as the battery cable colors and terminal ends. Is the distributor cap supposed to be tan like my '66 Fury 383 or was '64 still black like my '59...

My grandpa's '60 DeSoto has one that I believe to be a factory accessory and it also has a plastic cover. That has to be about the first year as I'm not aware of a similar cover for '59 or older.

I do pull the hood, I drill 2 small holes in each hood hing arm, next to the bolts (for easy alignment when putting it back on) when I pull the whole enchilada.

OMG! Twin to my sweetheart! She was my first C body after I moved to Ontario. Except I had a radio and power windows. She was rusty but the 318 never let me down. I love to grab this car but 3 C's in a freshly built garage got me tapped out. The flood of memories..but dont want to hijack this...

We are using the Schumacher mounts to adapt the 65 k frame to the mid 70's engine. I have added pictures to my original post.
