My garage is small - one car at a time. We recently acquired this 'weird' 1964 New Yorker, and I'd love to share the story!

My son and I have almost completed a 300 driver. He's 16 and loves road kill. They inspired him to educate himself about everything classic auto. This 300 is our second classic garage restore. We bought this car at an auction from the estate of a former 300 collector. This car was intact but wasn't running and had rust. My son got it running fairly well, and he fabricated and welded in new floor pans. We did the body work and paint. The only remaining issues are front bushings and there is...

working on our 55 imperial. motor runs great. It had been partially converted to 12v neg ground( 12v generator and starter) by previous owner. we are now going thru the wiring ,replacing bad wires, taping up wires, the spaghetti in here seems never ending! we are also finishing up the interior. trying to be done before it gets to hot here in phoenix. going to add aftermarket air conditioning (did I mention we are in Phoenix?) trying to complete before summer. will post updates as we go

I am the fourth owner. I bought this FQ3 beauty from a member, who'd bought the car from a flipper. All three ownership changes took place in 2020.

I'll use this space as a sort of checklist for everything I need to do with it (which is a lot, it's an old car, body is in solid shape but you can tell some things are aged and a bit worn, just needs some love to get it to showroom quality).
