1964 Imperial Convertible Luggage Compartment

This was mounted in the luggage compartment of my 64 convertible. Does any know what this is? It appears to have a Motorola transistor (2N176 412)

My builder has it, but I just figured out that it is a radio reveberator. Thank you, I didn't even think to tell him to look there. My first clue was the Motorola part number on the back.

That is indeed what it is.

I had a reverberator in my '65 NY. The amount of reverb (echo) was adjustable by a knob on the instrument panel. It sounded great.

Reverb is my favorite option......always a great sound, best of all in a station wagon......
