My 300 has front disc brakes. The master cylinder has a thick lid. Cars in this vintage with drum brakes had a thin medal lid on the master cylinder. Is the thick lid because of disc brakes?

I've never seen one, but the FSM shows a single pot master cylinder with an "add on" extension to increase fluid capacity (?) for disc brake models. Might this be what you have? If you don'd have a FSM, you can download a free copy at mymopar. com. They are invaluable! Lindsay
