This fantastic 1966 Chrysler New Yorker was purchased brand-new in 1965 at Johnson Chrysler - Plymouth in Auburn California by Raymond Larsen, for his wife Clarise. It was driven locally around Camino and Placerville (and always garaged) until the early 1990's, when it was parked in a barn on the Larsen property in Camino. There it has sat for nearly two decades. . . until it was pulled out and cleaned up. Below is a link to a video showing the car being pulled from the barn. The car didn't sell on eBay, so it's now available here.

The odometer reads 8,957 miles, so it is assumed that the car has 108,957. The body, paint, interior, and drivetrain are all original. The AM radio still works! The car is equipped with a 4-barrel 440 V8 and Torqueflite 727 transmission. It has power steering and power brakes. The dash is in excellent condition.

Overall, for it's age, this vehicle is in remarkable shape! But, it is still a 45-year-old car that was a regular driver, and it's been sitting for nearly 20 years; there are plenty of flaws, and it needs TLC. The front seat is worn through at the drivers-side edge. The drivers door doesn't shut properly, and has some damage. There is a dent on the drivers side rear wheel skirt. There are scratches and door dings all over the body. The tires are worn, and the front-end appears to be out of alignment. An overflow tank is cracked.

In getting the car prepared for sale, a fresh battery has been installed, the oil has been changed, the other fluids have been topped off, the belts are new, and both the upper and lower radiator hoses have been replaced. The alternator and voltage regulator have been replaced, and all the spark plugs have been changed. It has brand-new tires and the carburetor has been rebuilt. It has been registered and insured, and is now legal to operate.

I wish just once I could find something like that.

Being flipped. The seller is way too loquacious to be anything else but.

Another 4 door? Even worse a 4 door sedan.

No there's not. I took a beating in high school for fixing up and driving a four door.
