JJ1 Ember Gold Metallic exterior
H4N Decor group interior (gold/parchment bench seat with black dash, carpet, headliner, and accents).

Factory Options: power steering, fender mounted turn signals, rocker moulding, stainless sill moulding, black upper body stripe
- No vinyl top

Non-original (to the car) OEM add-on: power brakes, woodgrain 3 spoke sport wheel, tach, OEM hemi XHD torsion bars, OEM hemi XHD leaf springs (6/7 leaf), and OEM b body 3.54 Dana 60 (yes- from a 68/69 b-body, not a truck rear), original all chrome magnum 500s.

Summary: Extremely hard to find numbers matching 68 Plymouth Road Runner project with less than 100k miles. I bought 5 years ago and collected many parts for its restoration. It's 98% complete with all the 'hard to find' stuff already purchased. Just to name a few, I have a beautiful original (removed in 1970) decor group trunk finish panel and egg crate Road Runner specific grille, trademarks of the 68 Road Runner. I started the restoration, but have no time to complete it in the near future. This color combo on the 68 RR is absolutely stunning. With the complete numbers matching drivetrain, it is very worthy of a full restoration.

Condition: Disassembled. Unibody is straight and in good condition. No accidents. All rusted panels have been removed and it's ready for prep and new panel installation.

Terms: $8500 firm/ no trades. Serious buyers only. Please email/ text/ or call and leave a message. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I'll list the name & phone number an hope he gets plenty of calls!

:icon_fU:  :mob:

With the car, as it currently sits, I think whether it has less than 100,000 miles isn't very relevant.

You could get a turn key low mileage rust free Formal for that $$$$.

Looks like mine did before I started putting the feathers back on.
I think the price is more than fair.

98 percent complete......yep, just throw on the other 2 wheels and it'll be done!

OEM Dana 60 rear is no way correct for a 383. It's also a flat hood car which is IMHO crap on a original muscle car. Part of the coolness of these package cars is the performance and graphics, otherwise you have a Belvedere with a 383 4- speed. The sleeper only works if you have the biggest hammer under hood (Hemi).

The RR only came with the one hood in ‘68, I think he meant no blackout treatment.

Or that it was sold new in Florida! Might as well have been shipped straight to a salt mine. I would be afraid to transport that skeleton as-is.

Base model muscle is going to get hit the hardest when restored cars get handed down to the hand-held generation. I'll buy a restored 383 RR for that money from a grandkid who can't understand why you have to pump the gas 30 times to "turn it on".

I’d have to agree with you Carmine. I’d want to see the wheelhouses and trunk floor installed before going too far down the road.

That "car" would/should have had some metal replaced before removing as much as he did as once. The springs and rear axle are a lot of stress.

There is rarer vehicle in this photo anyway...
