Absolutely 100% dead serious.
B&O is the BMW of audiophile snootery.
Fair to middling performance, grossly overpriced and stylistically becomes the avocado green refrigerator within a year.
For the Sharper Image fanbois circa 1990's.
No thanks.
My state of the art is now Pandora on Family Dollar earplugs through my tablet...
I'm regressing exponentially as I get older in my needs.

The car is now in the year 2014. I guess you'd be the guy still wearing socks with suspenders on them with rational they looked good then they look good now, lol.
Anyone with just a little bit of good taste would agree this car will look so much better with the whitewalls it surely wore when new. It is NOT a 2014 Chrysler 300 convertible ..... It's a 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible, and should be presented as such.

Socks & suspenders .....? HELL yeah, thats cool. I have several pairs of 2 tone wingtips .... and wear them often, as well as a panama hat.

I sometimes wonder why you even come here Gary. You seen to have no understanding of the nostelga generated by our old cars ...... and little or no respect for their history and heritage behind them.

It's OK ..... we love ya, I just don't understand where your coming from sometimes.

ALL HEADLIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS AND WINDSHIELD WIPERS - EVEN THE TURN SIGNAL ONES ON FENDERS WORK GOOD.

Does it look like the headlights are on with the headlight doors closed and off when they are open?

I don't like the blackwall tires either... but that's me and I also own a Panama hat.

BMW snootery.....now THAT was simply uncalled for.

I'm complicated Wil. That 69' now exists in 2014 and as such it ought not cling to silly vestiges of the past such as whitewall tires. The white strip serves no purpose other than to make certain people wax nostalgic for the past. Let it go guys....let it go.

No SOUP for you! While at it no more C bodies for you either...
oK, but ONLY if everyone here who has whitewall tires gets rid of them....and I KNOW that's alot. They don't belong on any C body car. No, I take that back. There is one body style that definitely is not hurt by having whitewalls.

Thank you Big John. The Panama hat is a cool item if you ask me.

I'm partial to raised white lettering myself. Beautiful car though even if it is a "fusie" :D

I think I can speak for more than a few people here that when you love, buy, and drive a certain year classic car, you are doing so to CAPTURE that era and preserve it.
Would you take an Mission lamp and put a modern plastic lampshade on it???
The Mission shade is fragile and requires a lot of care. The Contemporary shade is durable.

This base....plus..... this shade............... equals total fail.

Every time one of my cats knock over one of my Mission lamps, the shade has to go into the trash. Should I put on the fabric one, which won't break??

I like the car a lot. I won't start any more tire debate. I can't believe no one talked about how unreadable the info page. He is a car flipper, so he has done this plenty of time before. Anyone catch where he is out of?

Thanks for proving my point Gary, You just don't get it. :poke:

You might as well go on down to your local Ichypussy dealer and get one of those 2014 non style aero designed crap box's ...... with std black wall tires.

Back to the car -

OMGWTFBBQWALLOFTEXT MYEYESMYEYES WTFISWRONGWITHPEOPLE IS THIS BEING POSTED FROM A FLIP PHONE?

However, the car is pretty damn nice. I'd go with some whitewalls and then start a long, slow search for a NOS white driver's armrest and be done with it. I think for the BIN price it is even a good deal. Although I'm just going by the pics as I can't look at the text.

I agree 100%

so in 2014 all modern cars have 17" wheels.
So you want it with 17" wheels, disc brakes all around and a catalytic converter?

No thanks

I'm not trying to "CAPTURE" an era at all. That's ridiculous. The past is the past. It is gone.....FOREVER. No item that you try to cling to hoping to fend off the future, will bring the past back. It's just not happening.
