Why would the year a paint came out dictate what year car it should be on?
So C8 or Y3 shouldnt be used on a 70 car because it was out in 71? Yet the 70's are so similar to the 71's many cant tell the difference of the year car, let alone the paint.
Well I specified the high impact paint on purpose. Hemi orange, lime light, plum crazy, etc don't look right to me on cars that it wasn't available on (talking about 60-70's muscle cars to include C bodies here and not little deuce coupe hot rods ... they look amazing in yellow or red or even lime green), same with wheels and hubcaps.
Now I like some mag wheels on some cars but not mixing and matching factory stuff that wasn't available on a given make/model/year. I really don't care for the car above either. If I saw a 70 or any other car that was well done I may like it and I may not but it would depend on overall execution as a whole package, but that's just my opinion.
