so we decided to change the interior up a bit, instead of the boring old bench seat car we modified a split bench set out of a 71 fury to accommodate a center console. It still utilizes the fold down arm rest and power drivers seat. The rear seat was also modified to accommodate dual folding arm rests and the speaker grill from a sport fury, which will be the intake for the rear window defrost. We cant wait for the seats to get back from upholstery!

Wow! We had a 69 VIP that exact color combo. Saddle color vinyl or leather interior just as yours. Never seen that combo since. It was a car dad ordered for his co. car for 69. Ours had a 383, ac, pw, am/fm stereo and cruise. At least as i remember as a kid. I remember Chrysler pushing the greens and bronze colors. Employees were encouraged to order the new colors.

You just don't see many VIP's. Nicely equipped too. I think I would have left it alone, the mods won't do much for it.
It's being built for a customer who has a list of options that needed to be in the car so it's comfortable for him to drive. He tried the car as a bench seat car and where he needed the seat to be for him to be comfortable it was uncomfortable for the passenger. Arm rests were a must and it had to have a center console for easy access to his pistol. It's being built for his everyday driver.

Nice solid car and I like what you're doing to it, why not???

Thanks, it's not like we are doing this to a 71 gt, it's a 4 door so why not change it up a bit. We also have a 440 that is fixing to be dropped off at the machine shop to put in her. The 318 2barrel just isn't going to cut it
