1969 Imperial progress thread

We did a lot of stuff ourselves. Not all we wanted to do, thanks to corona, but a lot of stuff.

Now its going to a professional body Shop for, hopefully t,he rest of the metal work.

Another update tomorrow, when I dropped it off there and talked everything through with him.

Now she is at her home for the next 6-8 weeks.

I will post updates on the grogress as soon as I get them!

I'm so excited :D

So Julian to wrap it up she needs bodywork and paint obviously. What's left thereafter besides reassembling? If I read through the last few pages of this thread it seems like you've everything finished waiting for putting the car back together right?

No, not everything is done and waiting. A lot of parts are, but another load is not ready yet.
Most bits and pieces of the actual parts are redone, but have to be assambled and finished.
Continue that is my task for this year as the body is out of my hands now.

How's the drivetrain coming along?
The drivetrain components are on the list. Some are already redone, some others like the engine itself not. It doesn't make any sense to redo the engine and then let it sit for years.
So that's something for later in the process.

Big work Fella, I can see the time involved, been there done that LOL.
Do I see a MK1 Granada Ghia tucked away there?, if so, how the hell did you end up with that LOL.
Sort after car over here again after falling out of fashion, big money now.
Great thread.
