1969 Sport Fury

That really is a neat car Nick, what’s it got for a rear axle? Build sheet yet?
I haven't checked the ratio yet, but it's an 8.75.

I'll get it home next weekend and start going over it.

Why is it old Fury's are tucked away next to dilapidated buildings in overgrown vegetation?

She'll start....

Well.... Not really
The guy on the right should put a shirt on. "Moobs".

That's the seller, he had a shirt on while I was there yesterday...

Thanks gents......I did not realize the car was Windsor built. There are some diff things between AMC cars built in Kenosha vs Brampton as well.

Here's an interesting thing a friend of mine pointed out to me....

My convertible was built Sunday September 8th 1968.....

So this 69 rolled off the end of the Windsor Assembly two days before my convertible, making it an even earlier car...

Sometimes the world gets small, kool stuff!

Great score Nick, Love the color scheme...........

Looks vaguely familiar to the one that's in my garage, other than that hard roof and the black interior !!!!

Love the look with the original SF wheel covers too. This will be another great car for you.

You have the parts, you have the talent!

looks like it was quite a beauty at one time and well optioned too. good luck with it.
how is dennis coming along? i love to see your fabrication.

Okay........so now lets catch up...

Yesterday Dad tagged along and we went and picked up my new baby...

I put the set of Sport Fury wheel covers I bought at Moparfest on the Sport Fury....and got it home..

Upon getting the SF home it was time to get it cleaned out and inspected, the 3 different sized tires needed dealt with, and I wanted to reassemble things... I put 4 rollers I had the same size on, removed and cleaned the interior the best I could and reassembled the engine.

I found 906 on the passenger valve cover, the 383 has 906 heads.. passenger side has the original two piece rotor, drivers side has a unicast rotor, more on that in a bit,

I took some glamour shots before loading it up again.. Here's where the Uni-cast rotor story comes in, apparently the center hub is larger in diameter on the one piece rotor and because of that, the deep dish wheel cover center will not clear it....so I could only put 3 wheel covers on...
