I know this is a very long shot, but would anyone have either the trans or just the housing with the number #3410670? Mine was replaced apparently in 1971 by a 1971 one. It's for a NY State Police car with the 440.
thanks!

FYI - the 727 automatic trans part # PK 3410670 was the standard trans used in 1970 B-bodies and E-bodies with 440 HP engines. Therefore, it's one that is sought after and can be difficult to find.

What is the part # on the 1971 auto trans that's currently in the car ?
Does it happen to be a 3515850 ?
Depending on part #, that too could be a desirable trans to the B/E body crowd.

Hi and thanks for getting back to me. At the moment the one in the car is pk3515848 I believe.

Trans part # PK 3515848 is the auto 727 trans used in all 1971 BCE bodies with 440 engines standard and HP.
Also used in 1972 BC bodies with 440 HP engine.
It should have value to someone. You maybe able to trade it for the trans looking for.

Did your NYS police car have a U-code 440 in it? I know of one other '70 NYS car but its a T-code.

HI mine is a T code 440 also. I'd love to find someone with another matching car to take pics and ask questions about it!

I’m new to this forum and this thread caught my eye. I have a 71 Fury I PK41T. I was looking for the NYS dash switches for siren and lights. Also for power windows which it doesn’t have. Where would I post for those?

Hi, Its cool that you have a '71 nys police car! I guess any thread, with looking for parts or interior parts would work. I dont have any extra dash switches unfortunetly. Mine were amazingly left in the dash when I got my '70. They are usually gone.
