This car was first listed on FB ten days ago and is still there.

Thank you for posting the CL ad as it has more info and (slightly) better pics. The listed price is now $1k lower ($2k vs. $3k) than the original ask.

The car is owned by a new member. See here: 1970 Dodge Polara convertible 383, automatic

I also found the car posted on Instagram, with some more info:

"This is Eric Smith from Berkeley, California. I have a 1970 Dodge Polara Convertible for sale. I bought it in 1983. (...) It has a 383 engine and a good transmission. It has around 82,000 original miles. It ran really well, then we parked it and put it on planned non-operation. Sometime after that a neighbor hit it with her car on the back right quarter panel. It was sitting next to a tree so there’s damage to the left back quarter panel as well. There’s also a dent in the driver side door and a tiny dent in the driver side fender. Other than that the car is really straight. It needs a new top and upholstery. Car currently holds a Salvaged CA title."

Looks like it was last registered in 2015:

If the interior panels are in good shape, then this car would be of interest to me. I’m waiting for additional photos to decide.

I have received the photos and decided to pass. Attached are pics of the bulkhead, springs in the area that was hit by the old lady, and rear interior.

Options are typical for an L-code Polara 'vert: A01, G11, H51, L31, M25, M31, M85, R11. Interestingly, V5X black molding rubber strips and white top. The car, BTW, is FY4 -- not FF4 as could have been the case. So, greenish gold, not formally green. I like the color combo, but sadly have decided that I won't be the car's savior (I received the fender tag, as I was serious about considering the car, but the seller has requested that I not post it at this stage, so I will not).

--> I do think the car would be worth $1.5k all to the right (ideally local) buyer who needs parts for a 1970 'vert. But that person won't be me. I hope the right buyer finds it, as the seller seems to be a straight shooter and a great guy.

A year after the car was sold by the long-time owner, DL27L0D215703 is being sold for parts on FB in Ukiah, CA. From the ad:

"$950. Parts only, take the whole car or just what you want, engine good, transmission good, front fenders, bumpers, hood, grill."
