Besides the rust there are those dents on either side of the car. Both along body lines which will need to be restored. Neither, fun, easy or cheap to do.

IMO quite a few awesome looking American cars were produced during the period 1970-72, and not only Mopars. I hope this Polara falls into good hands. Once the creases are taken out, the resto should be a piece of cake.

That's going to take some super skills and TOOLS from a professional tin knocker to pop that out. You are not going to do that in your garage.

I'm wondering if a large portion of that dent, save for the creases, could be pushed back out from the inside using hydraulic equipment

Oh it's definitely gonna be a push n pull job with hydraulic equipment.
No getting away with a few Harbor Freight tools here.
A come-along and a jack aren't going to cut it.

I had one that we turned into a "70's stoner, muscle, rat-rod kinda thing. Totally ridiculous. I've owned some nice cars, but this is the one everyone wanted and still talks about. It was a blast to drive. I wish I could buy this one.

Note also one of the two photos with a hose. I had to go looking for it before I could post the ad.

That odometer's rolled over the 100K mark. If anyone is remotely interested, make sure the tranny is a matching numbers one. If it is, then maybe I'll buy the 24k original miles but I'll bet a dollar to a dime - it ain't. A 24k mileage car wouldn't have gone through a trans yet...
