While tearing into my interior to get rid of all the mouse house and related smells, I was able to retrieve a complete build sheet from under the rear seat, I also managed to get three others though they are in much worse condition. When I bought the car it came with a decoded fender tag paper, other than that I'm pretty much clueless as to how this car left the factory. It's a Canadian car (1 of 32 to come with a sunroof) that's spent its life in central Ontario, presumably starting in the area west of Barrie, I'm guessing it was taken off the road sometime around 2010, in 2020 it was sold to somebody near Brantford who planned to run it in a derby, I bought it in 2022 and brought it back up to around the GTA, where I'm putting it on the road. Here's the sheet for all that are interested, I don't know how to decode it myself but if anybody wants to take a crack at it, go ahead. I can clarify the numbers if needed, between the four sheets I should have all the columns

try renting an ozone generator to get rid of smells ( i wound up buying 1 with a friend ) they work really well but you have to do it more than once
good that you saved it

It should closely match the fender tag, except for lines 3-7. Those are usually the last 2-3 digits of part numbers used to build the car.

Thank you, right now the only pieces of fabric in the car are the seats and it still smells like a mouse porta-potty

the stink gets into everything inc the headliner, air ducts etc my 72 monaco coupe had been in a barn since 1996 til may of last year and it wasnt nice, multiple uses of the ozone generator completely killed the smell and any mold, bacteria etc

Are there any codes lists on the backside of the build sheet? That model year was about the time that they started to print the codes on the backside, all of the possible sales codes, so you could use those codes to see what matched with the typed items on the front side.

Glad you saved it. It'll be nice when done, I suspect.

For one thing I note something odd with the SPD (Scheduled Production Date). The fender tag decode paper lists that as

808 Scheduled Build date 08/08/1974

That doesn't square very well with other SPDs I know for 1975 Imperials:

YM43T5C102689, SPD 818
YM43T5C112442, SPD 823
YM43T5C115353, SPD 918
YM43T5C138039, SPD 808
YM43T5C143761, SPD C07
YM23T5C172214, SPD 430

Reading 808 as B08 would clean this up and the broadcast sheet supports that. The SPD is therefore 11/08/1974.

Do you also have a pic of the door sticker to share?

Where did you find the other three sheets?

Here are the sales codes in lines 8-13.

"" is for descriptions used in 1975 dealership data books.
[] is for descriptions applying to 1974 and/or 1977 info.
No additional markings for descriptions I copied straight from the broadcast sheet.

What I find funny is the absence of an engine block heater (no N25 code). I lived under the impression that N25 was standard on Canadian cars.

Where did you find the other three sheets?
One under the driver's seat, one under the sound deadening in the rear passenger floor well, and the third I took out a long time ago so I don't remember exactly but I think it was also under the rear seat. The ones under the seats got destroyed by mice and the one under the sound deadening got water damage as the windows don't stay up all the way

Nope, no codes on the back of all four sheets.

Nice is the goal, I'm aiming for a factory+ sort of "build" (if you could call it that)

Thank you! All of this matches up with what I've seen on the car and clears up some of the stuff I've been unsure of. The car's spent most of its life around the same latitude as Minneapolis, not too far north, so that might explain the lack of a block heater?

uhh, no. we're not the arctic besides why give it away when you can charge for it:)

Here are some other documents that I found in the car as well as the other three build sheets. The build sheets kept folding in on each other so I had to place a clear baking dish on them to get a good picture

I never heard of an ozone generator. I'll have to remember that! About 30 years ago I found a mouse had been living in the heating system of my Subaru hatchback. When I fired up the heater, after getting it back on the road, I near barfed! I went through everything and found the mouse had also been up into the duct work. Vinegar was recommended. I got about 3 or 4 gallons and washed everything. So after that whenever it was raining or very humid the car would smell like mouse salad!
