Got my headlights installed. Had to take my retaining rings to work to respot weld the tabs on. Still need to get them aimed.
Took my instrument cluster out to figure out the speedometer and fuel gauge. Man that plastic is brittle. Looks like my speedometer bushing is shot. Need to figure out how to replace that.

So is the discoloring of the speedometer face because of the glue? Has anyone ever had successful fix this? IMG_20190301_141756307.jpg

I have a fury cluster that might be better, I could check. If it's not totally drifted over.

@Stern70 that would be great. And I hear you about the drifts. My shop took a bit to clear out from the last storm.

I do have a green passenger side door panel. Unless a sadan is different. But Maybe it's not a big concern.

That side panel and the dash pad are the only rips in the car. So if you have a good one I'm definitely interested.

I found it! It was under the floor pad. It's damp so I'm seeing if it will dry before removing it. Here are some pictures.

I found at least 3 in my wagon while doing work. Nice you found that one, but would be great is you found one without that section missing.

I do hope to find another. It was very hard to remove, also like it was glued down.

Gas tank removed and sent off to get repaired and coated. Should be picking it up today. Is the filter on the pickup replaceable? The tank was very clean inside but it seems like something I should replace.

Just curious who is repairing the tank and how much they charge? I still need to get my tank done. Thanks

Gas Tank Renu of Minnesota, it's behind Canterbury Park. I was quoted $250 to $400 depending on how much damage is found. The gas tank will be boiled then sandblasted. You get a call about any damage found. It is repaired, coated inside and out then baked at 400 hundred degrees.

My tank had over 50 pin holes after sandblasting. After repair and coating it came to $325. Tank came out nice and has a lifetime guarantee not to rust out.

That's about what I thought it would be. They must do quick work, seems like you just pulled your tank pretty recently too. Here is that green door panel I have. KIMG1229.JPG

Brought it to him last Monday at 2:00 PM and was done Wednesday just after 12:00 PM. He said the closer to summer the busier it gets.

That door panel is different. You also mentioned you had a gauge cluster? Is the small orange bushing between the speed cup and needle good? That what I narrowed it down to on my speedometer.

Also don't know why the arm rests are blue; as there all like that.

I have been dailying the wagon and have ran into some problems.

First passenger side wiper doesn't work. I was using them and the passenger side went straight up. Guessing a broken linkage.
Second sometimes under heavy acceleration when you let off the throttle, it seems to keep pulling far a second or two. I checked the throttle cable and can not find any binding. Would the kick down be causing this?
Third I lost a hub cap and now need to find another. Hopefully there not to hard to find.

Overall its been good. Got to drive it more to get all the bugs worked out.

My Monaco had a clip come off for the wipers behind the wiper motor and I couldn't ever get it back on. But boy does rain x really work good!
