Good Afternoon All
Does anyone have information on the application of a 4140063 engine fan? It is a 5 blade affair.
It is a clutch fan, but I have looked in parts books from 1963 to 1974 and can find no listing.
There are several on E Bag that claim they are '60's-70's Mopar. They look very similar to fans used in early 2000 era Jeeps.

I believe it was used on 80's trucks and vans and was the fan that Mopar Performance sold with their viscous fan kit.

The part number series would tend to indicate a 1980s application. Which might ALSO retrofit back into prior decades. Generally as below . . .

2______ 1960s
3______ 1970s
4______ 1980s

IF a "1" or "2" series number is on a later model listing, that means it's been used for a good while.
