Having only ever seen a Belvedere in real life. All of the pictures I've seen of Furys all have the bumper wings. But, this one looks like they were never fitted.

guy i got from bought new ( have sales receipt ) he was a drag racer. raced the car. had a family car was parked

looks like a day or two worth of detailing, a once over under hood and brakes and it will be ready for the road.
well, it will almost certainly be more than that, but YouTube is full of videos where it all happens in thirty minutes. : )

exactly. like complete restorations in 1/2 hr as well

An outstanding piece of history! Interesting story, too.

Congratulations on the find!

Does it have the 350 305hp with 2 four barrels or the 318 290hp with 2 four barrels. A lot of people do not like the bumper wings, me included. When I got mine in 1964 the front wings were trash and I replaced both bumpers from a Belvedere. Nice car.

I like the front wings, but the rear wings always looked awkward to me.

it is a 350-2/4 car. the guy i got it from pulled the intake?? why no idea he doesnt remember why

as to wings myself i dont car for them

I kind of like the wings, as long as they don't droop at their back. IF they do, it makes the bumper look like it needs alignment or something. Perhaps that extra amount of weight puts too much strain on the mounting brackets and bolts?

here is the pics of engine bay. the intake and carbs are on work bench. i was told intake was removed to paint and rebuild carbs tonput back on the road
