Fluid Technician with a hat
Does anybody know if anyone makes foam or covers for 66 Polara bucket seats? I know Legendary doesn't, I even offered to use mine as a pattern and they said "not enough demand" so I'm left to the local guy, who is nice but not to reassuring, for $375 a seat. Only other options are 30+ miles away and I need to bring my seat with me , which I understand but it still sucks. I found an old seat to provide a pattern ( I have no idea what C body they came out of). Right size and shape, not the pattern I want but needs replacing anyway.
Also, how hard is it to dye the plastic? They are red and I want black, unless someone is selling a red interior for a 66 Polara??? That would be sweet also.
