66 poly to LA318 swap - keeping 19 spline 727 TF

I would like to replace my 66 poly 318 with a 1970 or 71 LA 318 from a challenger. I Know that the 1966 727 transmission is the last year with a 19 spline input. I would like to know if I can use the flexplate from the poly on the LA 318 motor ( which had a 24 spline input on a 904 transmission) , so I can keep the original transmission in the Fury.
