70 300 Convertible Top Frame

Well, I guess this one is toast. Header is rotted pretty bad. It looks like it can be unbolted from the rest of the frame. Anyone have experience with fixing these? Before I waste time digging into it, do you think this is as simple as cutting out the bad and welding in fresh metal? TIA.

Alot of them rot like that. Can it be fixed? Certainly. I'd source a replacement though.
