You always tell us how rare the cars are
And they are - they are very cool cars in prison.
Then as you have for years tried to sell the turds you rescued at next century prices and when you can't snake oil some one you threaten to part the cars out.
If you would quit playing games with people the cars would have been sold a long time ago. Now you deserve the same dog pile from the 12 yr olds on here just like the FK5 car dog pile.

If there was a market demand for these unfortunate orphans they would have sold already at the asking prices.

First off there are almost no similarities between Dan and this car and the jerk with the FK5 Dodge, 2nd, F you.

Not a turd. Very restorable, perhaps optimistic with some previous pricing but you have to start somewhere. IMHO I think the eBay listings could have been done better with more photos and a better narrative but not everyone is a wordsmith. I'd love to have this car but I just can't make it happen right now. A few 71 GT's in MUCH worse shape have sold for twice as much in the past few years such as the one Murray sold.

I would say that for sure (1025%) that if those cars were in a prison the convicts would have a nice project instead of trying to make guns out of soap bars.

I remember seeing a documentary about Casino Cheating and they interviewed some convicts in Nevada that got caught cheating in Las Vegas and were sentenced to 25 years which I take was the norm back several decades ago (better than getting shot with a 6-shooter across the poker table in the old days I guess) and they're job in the Nevada State Prison system was restoring Harrah quality/age cars which could be seen in the background.
I don't know if this prison program is still going on these days.

That is one perspective on Dan and his sales approach.

Another perspective is that you have been more than judgmental of members on this site. You have mostly negative, judgmental and pedantic opinions of "FCBO members" and their cars.

You are proud and hold your head high because you owned a Hemi car once,...who hasn't?

Dan has had a couple of them.

Maybe if you knew how to play in the sand box, instead of just throwing sand,....a member on this site would trailer the 69 VIP or the 71 GT promo that you are obviously interested in down to you at Spring Fling for fuel costs, to help you restore part of MoPar history.

And they would do it for you as a favor for being part of a positive "community" that actually saves history and cars; instead of complaining about and berating the "FCBO community" that you so frequently dismiss.

Not everyone gets along here, or agrees here and I guess,... that's life.

like i said..the ones saying they are ..."serious buyers "...will never come thru..just complete time wasters.. i call them "chesty puffers"... car is for sale [whole] at this time.. if you have the cash my advice would be to not wait too long.... will part out soon as i need it gone... lots of great parts... lots of people have sent me their want lists already and it will basically equal what i,m asking maybe even a bit more..... then i will list the NOS on ebay for everyone to buy... the cars just aren't very desirable sadly..and most of the people who want them,.... are just good talkers... with empty wallets..

Dan, willing to sell internationally? My friend back home (has a red '70 Chrysler 300 2-Door Hardtop, and a green '71 Monaco 4-Door Hardtop) used to own a blue '71 Fury I 2-Door Hardtop (straight 6 stripper car) found in the suburbs of Dublin many moons ago. He has always wanted a '70/'71 Fury again. Will advise him of this sale

I think someone will eventually buy it it.

If I was 15-20 years younger I would take this on as a major project.

I think the color is holding it back. Then again, it could be all the rust and the high price .

I wonder which Mopar exec determined this is the color we want to paint the promo car....

Especially with all the beautiful colors that were available.

You would think something more snazzy but in 71 this was a great color

I really like the Spanish Gold Y9 that was available later in the 70's. It appears brown with green metal flake in it. Looks very nice on Formal's and is just stunning in the sun.
