more ponies , no temp fears , clean fuel , gas is 16:1 air / fuel and in a dirty fuel , alky 6-7:1 air fuel , and clean on the burn . it takes way more , but hp costs something . the nation of vehicle could be clean machines , on alky . but were are they to grow the base materials to make enough . sugar cane is the best source , maybe there could be enough state producing a form of alky . and take the meth from the dump sites , storage is an issue with alky or any form of it . it eats through metals , well that would be a good use for the oil ind to make drums for storage . moonshiners ran the stuff for years , still do i'm sure .

Good info! Unfortunately, the federal government provides monopolies for sugar production in US. Has since the 1930s. Doubt production will increase anytime soon.

it should be thought of a fuel source . it could just do more for air quality then all those e cars thought of . and just what going to happen with all those batteries on the recycle . dry or wet there more than a pain to deal with .

I used to work for NAPA. Pallets of core batteries were a pain to deal with. Exide Battery Corporation made our batteries and used to claim that their batteries were made 100% from recycled materials. Don’t know if the claim was true or not, but do know that they were a big polluter in California.

Would be interesting to see a cost study for alcohol and miles per gallon

Big Sugar, as we call it here, ruined, and continue to destroy the Everglades while getting federal support and millions of federal support is being spent to stop ruining the Everglades.

BTW, for you out of staters, the Everglades have been permanently ruined and can never be brought back no matter what. Gone forever mainly because of sugar.

I'm sure people releasing boa constrictors into the Everglades hasn't helped either. We're dumb asses. The same type of people planted kudzu around here in the mountains without a thought of it destroying whole sections of forests.
