Any photos Bob?View attachment 323952 I looked at this 73 Charger today. Thinking about getting it. Roller no engine. Would like to know what size engine it came with & the original color
Yes, here ya go. I wish it was still bronze. I like that.Any photos Bob?
Pretty rare piece at only 1,627 built with the U code and it’s an ac car to boot.
Agreed Bob but I’m surprised that’s not called out on the fender tag.And a console with a factory Slap Stick 727.
I would say its rare enough and worth restoring.

Well like most of my projects I doubt I’ll have the time, money or skill to do a proper restoration on it. So if I get it I’ll get it going again & enjoy it untill the next guy comes along & can take it to the next level if he wants.Interior looks to be in decent shape., although it looks like the Tuff wheel has a chunk missing. No cracks in the dash? Wow. Nice project there...looks like a solid foundation.
I don't know why, but I think the hi impact colors look wrong on the late Chargers (73-74). Take it back to stock with that Bronze and you'll have a real looker.
Not really but I believe you could rest assured that there’s probably less than a couple of dozen ordered that way. I mean when it comes right down to it what’s the difference if there was four or 50 identical cars built especially with the fact that it no longer retains its original drivetrain? Or does it?As I ponder the purchase of this car. With only 1627 built with the 440 HP is there a way to break it down by the color. And then the other options like the ac & auto trans.

The original engine was put in a Drag car. I’m not sure if it’s still around but was told the guy put a lot of money in it. He wanted to go real fast. Not really but I believe you could rest assured that there’s probably less than a couple of dozen ordered that way.
