Yes I am happy. It’s the little things. Just to know I drilled the holes in the right spot is a relief. I’ll make improvements later. For now it’s A-OK.
 
It's been a few years since I've been there.

There was a Formal there that the wasp's took over. I gave up getting anything from that car. Lol

This one.... green/rust color. The zombie wasps were living in the roof. I ran into a bunch of snakes there too. LOL!

Whoever supplied the hubcaps back in the day did a good job with the paint. I suspect it was baked on. It’s thick and durable - it’s not coming off easily.
 
While I am in the business of stripping paint, I am experimenting with a heat gun to peel off the old fake wood vinyl.

Took me about an hour. Heat gun for the nasty brown stuff, goo gone for the adhesive residue.
