WANTED 8 34 Rear end housing around 57 to 58 flange to flange

I need a 8 3/4 housing that is around 57 to 58 wide.
I have read 68/69/70 C body but opinions seem to vary.
Also 73 or 78 B body. I will buy entire rear in needed.
Hopefully in So Cal/So Nevada/Arizona.

Looks like mid to late '60's Imperial hits right on. I have a "C" body housing only. I could measure for you, but there's gotta be something way closer to you than me.

There are a couple of different widths for C body axle housings. Chryslers with the overhanging quarters have the narrow one, Dodges with full openings have the wider one. It's about a 2-3 inch difference. Axles from one won't work in the other. I have both laying around, I'll take the measurements and let you know.

A rear end from an E body Barracuda will bolt right in. I did it on a 57 Plymouth that I had about 15 years ago. It was an 8 & 3/4 housing. They are not hard to find as quite a few people upgrade to Danas and look to sell off theirs.

Sorry, I read your post wrong, I was thinking you needed one for a 57-58 Plymouth. You need one to that width. Sorry.
